On.& On

Well I just got done watching Noah's Arc, im hella mad its only 30 minutes long. I guess beggars can't be choosers, so I won't complain, but I will say for some reason the acting seems forced sometimes and feels like im watching another book turned into a stage play,"Mama I wanna Sing", "Shirley Don't Eat The Last Cornbread", or "A Good Man is Hard to Find and Keep When Growing Up in The Hood."

Anyhow I leave for New york in 7 hours, and I haven't packed shit yet. Im getting nervous about going now. I feel like a country hillbilly going to the big city, but im excited. So on that note, everyone have a safe and blessed remainder of the week.

Over and Out

The Good Ol Days

I remember in 1st grade, when my friend Terrel stuck his tongue in my ear...and I liked it..lol

I remember in 2nd grade when I was drinking from the water fountain and one of the boys came from behind me and pretended to do me in a doggystyle position..i liked that too..lol

I remember the summer when I was 12 and I made out with the cute mixed boy with good hair.

I remember when I was 14 and playing catch a girl get a girl, and getting my big black peter sucked.

I remember being 14 and going to a summer camp and one my fellow cabin mates telling me he would fuck me if i was a girl...I remember being confused but flattered...

I remember my biggest worry being what I was going to wear to school on casual day.

I miss when the teenage mutant ninja turtles and the thundercats were my heroes.

I miss watching Video Soul Top 20 countdown, and taping my favortie videos (Am I the only one that did that??)

I miss the simple days of love notes, Will you go with Me? Check Yes, check no, check maybe.

I miss having a red finger from mixing sugar and red kool-aid in a plastic bag.

I am now 23 years old, things aren't that simple anymore. Things ain't all that bad either. I saw an old classmate yesterday, while I was at work, and I explained to her, that this was just a temporary job. Her reply was, "As long as you are happy." Well I'm not, but I'm ok.

Floating on Noah's Arc

My weekend has been the usual, work work, work, and a little more work, but on my down time this weekend, I have been watching the same episode of Noah's Arc on my TiVo. I think I may be borderline addicted to it. I know everybody has already blogged on this topic, but so what damn't...lol..When I first viewed the show, I was a little upset, because the lead character was feminine, they used the terms ho, bitch, and girl too frequently, and the show perpetuated a few stereotypes. As I watched it for the errrrr.....6th time..I decided to just enjoy it for what it is, entertainment. Im just really captivated by it, and this is really the first all black, gay show on television if I'm not mistaken. The music is good, the cast is pretty good as well.

Another reason I am probably addicted to Noah's Arc already is because I'm still learning about myself, about being gay, and the whole world of it. I am currently not in a relationship, so I think I enjoy watching the show, due to the idea of what could be. I'm evolving searching for a reflection of me, searching for myself period.

In other news, I hear Cam'ron was shot in an attempted carjacking, one time in each arm. I'm not Cam'ron's biggest fan, but I don't wish death on anyone, get well soon bruh.

Everyone else enjoy what's left of your weekend, Peace and God Bless. (damn I sound like Russel Simmons)

Kanye West Doesn't Care About Gay People?

Everyone should be familiar with the television gay network LOGO. Tonight is the premiere of the all black cast comedy-drama Noah's Arc. Apparently Def Jam doesn't want to release Kanye's music to the show, for fear of being associated with gay programming.

Patrick-Ian Polk the director of Noah's Arc

"Apparently, Polk tried to clear Kanye West's music and "got flat out rejected by the label," the director said in a statement. "I'm a fair person, I get that and a lot of times these requests and things don't make it to the artists. But he needs to check his people because that's not cool. The black gay community, and even the white gay community, are big Hip-Hop fans, so they're missing out on a big market by being short-sighted."

I would think that Kanye West would be the last to turn his back against gay people, especially after his MTV interview.

"When I was in high school I got called 'fag' a lot because of the way I walked and other little things," West told MTV's Sway during the interview. "And what happened was, it made me kinda homophobic, cause it's like I would go back and question myself, my own feelings.
The Louis Vutton Don later added that after discovering that his cousin was gay, "it was kinda of like a turning point when I was like, 'Yo, this is my cousin. I love him and I've been discriminating against gays.' Not just in Hip-Hop. Not just Hip-Hop, but America just discriminates. And I wanna just get on TV and tell my rappers, tell my friends, 'Yo, stop it."

If Mr.West is aware of the opportunity that was presented to the Def Jam label, and is aware of their decision, than that would make him an hypocrite, so let's hope he had nothing to do with this decision.

If so what's a metrosexual, tight jacket wearing, puffy-cheeked chipmunk to do?

I was going a different route with this post in its previous version, but something didn't feel right about it. Needless to say....

I Love U Kanye!

Brotherly Love

Case #1 -Sean P.Diddy Combs

Wendy Williams supposedly has a sex tape of him and Loon. I wonder if he is a Top Or Bottom? Since he seems to be a control freak, I would say he's versatile.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Case #2- 50 Cent (only worth 5 cents between his legs)

Besides looking like a guerilla, this nigga keeps so many niggas dicks and names in his mouth, I'm suprised he hasnt choked yet. I'm wondering if that G in G Unit stand for somethng else?

Case # 3- Young Jeezy and Lil' Scrappy Doo

That's riggghhtttt. I always thought the whole snowman thing was kind of fruity. Apparently the snowman is used to represent him as selling cocaine, that rock, the powder fresh stuff....but personally I think it's used to represent something else that's white and sticky...U be the judge.

Case #4-Cam'ron

His nickname is Killa Cam...I guess I would be scared of a dude wearing blue mink. I won't even touch this, it speaks for itself..reference previous post.

I Heart N.Y (Part Deux)

It's been a crazy day, and its only Monday, time is flying by too damn fast. I have exactly 1 week and 3 days until I leave for New York. I'm happy, excited, nervous, and overwhelmed. I don't even know what to expect anymore once I get there, except Chaos maybe. I spoke to my "friend" today, to let him know that I would not be able to see him when I come visit next week. I actually felt bad, especially when he asked, "Could we at least go to dinner?", I could only reply, "Maybe next time." I'm sure once I get to New York, my mind will be too occupied to think about him, because there is so much to do, so much to see right? I don't even know what places are a must to go see, where to get some fresh one of a kind gear, good places to eat, places I need to avoid. All I know is that I don't wanna look like a tourist with my map and camera, not really trying to get pick-pocketed and mugged ya know, not a good look.

I'm really excited about the dudes in New York, it would be nice to get some flavor in my usual slim, bland pickings here in St.Louis. Alot of the dudes I have become friends with or more than friends have usually been from N.Y, so I guess we will see happens. I leave next week so keep ur fingers crossed for me.

Roc Box Anyone?

Last night I watched the second episode of BET's Ultimate Hustler, and I must say that it was as funny as the first one. BET (Bootleg Entertainment Televison) definitely has knackfor low budget shows, College Hill, BET Awards, I could go on but you all get the point.

The Ultimate Hustler wouldn't be Ultimate Hustler without the annoying chihuahua Seven., because like she said "People just ain't on her level" ..Get The Fuck Outta Hea!

Also last night BET (Bootleg Entertainment Televison) decided to step it up and have Dame visit the remaining wanna-be hustlas via hologram., I was like "oh Aight they doing it big" , but then BET decided black people were slow so they flashed a big ass definition of what a hologram was.....were slow but yet BET is the one that gets Steve Harvey to host every televised award show they do?. HHHMMMMMM..ok...

Last night task was for the the 3 teams to produce a hit song for M.O.P, Graft, and Rell. That's just plain dumb. Dame you been trying to produce a hit song for Rell for like 10 years, so what makes you think 5 lame brains can do any better? Two of the 3 teams failed the mission, and in conclusion, sloppy lisp mouth Kwame got the boot after he got his $50 dollar Jacob watched hustled by Swizz Beats. The winner gets a chance to work with Dame at his Empire...which would be....ummm....Oh yea..no...ummm...The State Property line? Who wears State Property? Who owns a Roc Box? Who reads America Magazine? Who rocking Pro Keds? Rocafella Records really only has one dominant artist let's be real,. So Mr. Dash u gon be getting money, u just won't be getting money from me supporting another one of ur failed attempts of entrepreurship.

Hip-Hop: State Of Emergency (UPDATED)

When did you fall in love with Hip Hop?

When u heard Lil Jon yell,"Aww Skeet Skeet Skeet,"?

When u heard Dem Franchize Boyz say,"I slang in my White Tee, I bang in my white tee."?

When u heard Project trade insults with LaChat? "Bald headed scally-wag, ain't got no hair in the back"...classic

When u heard how Icy Gucci Mane was?

When u heard how gangsta Camron was? "I'll leave you wholy holy. You'll say Holy Moly."

The radio and music has been an outlet for bullshit on top of bullshit. I don't even know how some of this shit makes it on the radio. I'm not a hardcore Hip Hop head or anything, but some stuff I just have be like "Yo Are U Serious??!" I remember seeing Kanye Freestyle on Wild n Out.....horrible..are u only a rapper with ur pen, paper and backpack? The whole Hip Hop world is just really annoying and corny right now. Recycled beat after recycled beat....I don't know how many more versions of the same song I can stomach...thank u Scott Storch and Lil' Jon.

Camron is one of the most full of shit rappers out in my opinion. A tight beat, timbs, and a wave cap (bald headed ass), don't give you street cred or make u a rapper. Take this verse from the song Get Em Girl from the Purple Haze Album:

"My team is the "Goonies" we where seen with buffonies,
Toonies, best dressed, stay up in Nemis,
and Bloomies Want to hit it from the back, she agreed that I'm looney
But proceeded to moon me (I'm getting money nigga)
Baby, BS in honey do, Cam, Vs 1 and 2
I'll help you get your son out of P.S. 22
Get him a maury flow, from the maury show
Fuck around, y'all gonna be up on the Maury Show
He in bootcamp, you on food stamps
Welfare, no healthcare, a true tramp
And I'm lockey, lockey, leave you pokey, pokey
No Rice a Roni, that's the Okey, Dokey"

This shit is just plain dumb. When Dame Dummy Dash heard this, was he like "Yo this shit is hot!"

You know Hip Hop is in trouble when shit like this is being played on the radio, the hottest rapper right now calls himself the Snowman, Trina teams up with Webster Dictionary and names her new album The Glamourest Life, Jay-Z is retired, Lil Kim is in jail so we are left with 4 female rappers, Foxy, Trina, Eve, and Camron.
